New Beginnings

Dress: Top Shop via eBay (similar) | Shoes: Calvin Klein via Ross | Belt & Bag: Ross (similar)

Notice anything new? I mean... Besides the adorable baby repeatedly appearing in my Instagram feed directly to the right of this post.

Yes, you guessed it. My Garments of Praise has a new design! I figured I couldn't come back to you guys, pick up where I left off and not "up my game" a little bit. Plus, I wanted to start fresh and give the old blog a much needed face lift. I hope you like it...

Well, a lot has happened during my time away. Too much to try to cram it all into this one post, so I'll try to share bits and pieces as they come. I would be remiss, though, if I did not officially announce that my baby boy, Adam Cooper Stewart, was born in December! He's my greatest life accomplishment to-date, and I'm loving motherhood. I'm sure he'll make his way onto the blog at some point, but if you want constant updates, be sure to follow me on Instagram @typhaniestewart.

My second announcement is that this post marks my official return to the blog. My posts may not be as frequent as before (I used to post 3-5 times a week!), but I will do my best to be consistent. Thank you so much for your patience and encouragement. I have some wonderful ideas in store, so stay tuned!

Oh, and since I'm starting fresh, please tell me what you'd like to see around here. Share your thoughts by leaving a comment below. Thanks!

    1. Thanks! - Not sure if my hair is shorter or just curly. Could be shorter. I cut it a few times a year.

  2. Eeeeeeeeeeee! :-D Welcome back and you're looking good. You've been missed! :-D And photos of your son on your Instagram page make me smile. I like the new look of your blog; it has a clean and airy feel to it. I'm curious to see how you manage staying a fly-looking woman (i.e. taking us through a journey to discover how your wardrobe evolves), now that you've added the title "mother of an infant" to your list of characteristics: wife, Christian, young adult; professional woman, etc.

P.S. Thanks for the verse in Isaiah; I believe God just sent me a word as I'm going through a possibly career defining moment filled with some confusion at this time.
