Inspired

Dress: Forever 21 | Cardigan: Cha Cha Vente via Marshall's | Belt: Thrifted, Plato's Closet
Shoes: Gianni Bini for Dillard's

Jamaica is such an inspiring place. Dwayne and I were only there for a short four days last week, but we were so glad to be there. I'll share more about the trip tomorrow :)

These photos were taken in the backyard of my maternal grandmother's home in Spanish Town. There was something peaceful and inspiring about connecting with the land of my birth in the very place where my mother grew up. Every time I go, I get the same feeling. As beautiful as the island is and considering the many places I could've taken outfit photos, there was no place I wanted to be at this moment except right under the mango tree.
