When I saw this skirt in the store, I absolutely could NOT leave it. I thought the pleats were interesting, the length was perfect, and I simply adore polka dots. It was also the last one in my size. Store managers, if you want me to spend money I don't really have, just leave out one of each item in my size. In my irrational rationalization, the "It's the last one in my size!" reason gets me every time... And it usually smooths things over with the hubby too :)

Despite how cute this skirt is, it was surprisingly difficult to style. I like simplicity and tend to keep "the party" in one concentrated area, this time being the skirt. So, in keeping with my tendancies, I chose a plain white ballerina top, black heels and a clutch. I put everything together and said (as I do most times after getting dressed), "Okay, that works."
