What I Would Wear // Summer to Fall

It's been storming down here in Florida for the last few days, so I haven't gotten a chance to take outfit photos. I couldn't stay away for too long, so I decided to share a bit of what's on my mind for the fall season.
A lot of bloggers are excited about fall rolling around, but I'm actually dreading it. Where I live, we have summer weather all year with about three days of mild winter which makes it difficult to create seasonal looks. So, mainly for the sake of this blog, I'm going to try to pick out the most transitional colors and pieces that I'd wear in spring and summer and incorporate them into fall outfits. One color that was especially popular throughout the summer that I think will transition nicely from season to season is cobalt blue. Here are some ideas for how wear it:

Hopefully I'll be back in business with an outfit post tomorrow! In the meantime, how are you preparing for fall?

  1. Great post! So, as you know, I am really "digging" colored pants. I know this is essentially a women's style blog but help us out! What colors are suitable for a South Florida fall?

    Missed the scripture btw!

    1. lol! You tell me! If I were a guy, I'd go for deep reds, blues, and even mustard if I'm feeling adventurous!

Scriptures are always included in outfit posts :)

  3. I lived in Florida for most of my childhood, so I know what you mean about the weather. Now that I live further north, I truly enjoy the change of seasons. In order to prepare for fall, I make sure I have plenty of shoe boots and plenty of wraps. I love wraps because they are classy and provide enough warmth when its not bitterly cold. Shoe boots are perfect for style when its not quite cold enough for knee boots. Sorry for the long response- I LOVE FALL! Lol
