An Unexpected Choice

Dress: Ross (similar) | Blazer: Forever 21 | Shoes: Zara | Clutch: Love,Cortnie

Coordinating to the "T" can be boring, don't you think? Sometimes I take a leap of faith and go with an unexpected choice. Besides, animal print is officially a neutral now, so I'm still playing it pretty safe with this get-up.

On another note, do you remember when I shared with you a while back that I'll literally stalk an item I love until I can find it at the best possible price?

Yep... Nothing's changed.

I bought these Zara shoes on sale in black during Zara's end of Spring/Summer 2012 knowing I wanted them in every color. I spent the rest of that year and part of 2013 looking for this green & blue combo and the red & purple pair for reasonable prices. Like always, my persistence paid off.

  7. Oh wow, the animal print clutch works surprisingly well with this outfit. The belt ties everything together: its color matches with the clutch and complements shades of blue. (I've been learning about color combos to help simplify my wardrobe and shopping experience; it's been really helpful!) AND CONGRATS ON YOUR 200TH POST! Thanks for making the time to exemplify modest and fun fashion for young Christian women.

On another note, it was in the high 60s here in the DC area on Saturday. And today (Monday) we got several inches of snow. This African girl cannot wait to bust out her warm weather clothes. In the meantime, I'll live spring through you.

P.S. I just noticed you wore Tiffany blue today. Ha! See what I did there? Ok that was a bit nerdy. I'll own it.
P.P.S. I tried posting comments twice earlier and Blogger (or my internet?) wouldn't cooperate. So apologies if you end up getting several comments from me.
