Seek & Find

Shirt: Worthington for JCPenney | Skirt: Forever 21 | Shoes: Mossimo for Target via eBay | Clutch: Forever 21

When I really want something, I search for it. For me, searching for something includes trying to find it at the best possible price. Take these shoes for instance. For a while, I've wanted a pair of shoes that would be a fun pop of color in an outfit; plus I just adore the color green. So, when I saw these online after reading a blog post about pointed toe heels making a comeback -- especially cap toes -- the search began.

Now, you may be thinking, "Typhanie... These shoes are from Target! How much more reasonably priced can they get?" Well, my friends... I am pleased to announce that these shoes went from the low price of $32.99 to the even lower price of $28.04 to the now clearance price of $23.08.
(Yes, I'm a shoe stalker. And you're welcome for the heads up.)

But, wait. There's more.

I realized a long time ago that items from Target are always all over eBay. So, when that item you've been stalking finally goes on clearance but they no longer have your size, check eBay and get it for even less than the clearance price. I scored these beauties for the "Buy Now" price of $14.99. I could have bid on them and paid less, but I had already taken enough risks. So I quickly clicked the "Buy Now" button, the shoes arrived a few days later, and here we are today.
United and it feels so good.

Have you ever searched for something you really love?

  1. I, too, adore these shoes! Thanks for the "heads up!" By the way, I found your blog via Shari Braendel @ Fashion Meets Faith.

  2. OK this by far is my favorite outfit you've worn!!
its modest yet funky and fun! ( 2 thumbs up!!)

  3. I got the pink ones for $9.08 at my Target. I was tempted to grab the blue and these green ones too but how many cap toes can a girl have. Love this outfit

    1. Thanks! :) Sadly, these shoes were nowhere to be found during that sale where I live.

  4. I also love a good bargain!! Those shoes are pretty! I actually have two pairs of those shoes, in two colors. I purchased them from Target during their 70% off sale. I got them for $9.98 in store. :)

I really like how you styled your ourtfit around those shoes. Very pretty skirt! :)

    1. Amazing! These shoes were sold out at my local Targets before the 70% off sale... But I did score some cute boots and a $6 skirt!!

  5. I think this outfit really suits your body type! could it be the high-waist effect?

  6. HEY! Green is my favorite color! Did you know that?? LOL! ;)

  7. Wow, patience is a virtue indeed! I'm gonna have to get on the eBay bandwagon; I checked the site after reading this post and found shoes I'd been eyeing at other stores for cheaper!

Also, I remember that skirt from F21; I was so bummed when it sold out in my size. I like how the shoes pull out the mint color in the skirt and the silver in the purse.

  9. As cute as your shoes are, I'm dying over that fantastic skirt! Absolutely perfect length and such a cute/fun pattern. And I love it with the classic white button up--which I've been searching for myself! Must it be so difficult to find the *perfect* one?

  10. Love the shoes! the silver detail in the toe is gorg!

  11. the print on your skirt is AWESOME! and i love your shoes too :)

  12. Love the entire outfit. I tried on that skirt in JCP last week it was on clearance for 8 bucks but for some reason the pleats/gathered skirts just don't look right on me at all at all. You wear them very well.

I have noticed the comeback of the point toe shoes....a few months ago I was like are ppl still wearing I know lol
